MIA

I don’t have a real excuse as to why I haven’t posted anything in, well, forever. Ever since school has started my “house to a home” mission has slowed down. BUT now that I’ve gotten in the grove of school and Fall is right around the corner, I’ve been cooking, deep cleaning, and decorating for the cool season!

Several weeks ago I decided that I needed to cook the chicken legs Pop and Nana gave us! They had a one way ticket from the freezer to the oven!

Marinated and ready for the oven!

And for your entertainment, a chicken leg would like to preform…

Yum! I liked em, so hopefully Jonathan did too!

Jonathan has been busy at school as well, and has worked the home Woodmont football games for the last two Fridays. The Woodmont FFA has been successful in collecting money for parking. Hope that continues, so they can have money for projects, field trips, and the green house!

As most of you know, since this summer, our Walker passed away. Sad smile I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t mention him and say how much we’re missing him. The house is definitely not the same… Jonathan is doing ok and like I’ve told him, we’ll miss Walkie forever, but the hurt will slowly be less noticeable. Here is a beautiful picture that Mrs. Mendi took of Walker… Then I had my mom’s friend, Debra, do her photographer magic to make it look like an oil painting.

Walker Dry Brush 5x4 email

He was THE most gorgeous Great Danes most of us had ever seen. One of a kind…

I have more to post, but like I told my Diddo tonight, I’m going to make posting a regular thing, especially with the holidays quickly approaching! I’ll have more tomorrow! Love y’all…
